Themes provide focus and direction to each session. Each themed session will include, but is not limited to swimming, arts and crafts, hiking, creekwalking, playing on inflatables, and more.

Summer Safari

Ever wonder how the animals of the wild live? Why giraffes have purple tongues? Did you know that Zebras each have their own distinguishig pattern, much like your finger print? During your week long safari, campers will explore the lives and habitats of various animals, some living right here in Saratoga and some living in the Sahara. Not only will we be exploring animals and finding animals, but we will swim, hike, and make crafts as well. It is sure to be an educational and exciting week! Keep your eyes open for visiting animals!

Outdoor Adventure

What is the best thng about summer? Playing outdoors! At Saratoga Springs you will enjoy the great outdoors under radical Redwoods, super Sycamores, and beautiful Bay trees. Campers will stay cool under the shade of the trees and refreshing creeks that run through the park. Activities will include creek walking, hiking, exploring the creek for creatures, learning about our environment, exciting nature crafts and even some outdoor cooking!

Wild Wild West

Down the dusty trail, two miles from downtown Saratoga sits a slice of the old Wild West. The jail sits empty next to the general store where baskets of ripe red apples welcome visitors. The mess hall table is set for some fine grub after a long day on the range. Now all Saratoga Springs needs are some cowboys and cowgirls to join the Wild West adventure. Campers will enjoy panning for gold in our creeks, building a tee-pee out of newspaper and paper plates, playing western games and also enjoying Wild West Theatre. We will also go swimming daily and enjoy some hikes. Yee ha!

Splish Splash

Hot Summer Days deserve some Splishin' and Splashin'! Come Splish and Splash in our swimming pool and two creeks that run through the Saratoga Springs. Not only will campers enjoy our swimming pool and creeks, they will be able to enjoy an array of fun water games such as water balloon toss, water bucket brigade, inflatable water slide, rubber ducky races, and much more! Other activities will include hiking and arts and crafts.

Olympic Games

Come celebrate 2008 Olympic games at Saratoga Springs! Campers will participate in team games, individual games, silly games, track and field events, swimming, gymnastics, soccer, baseball and more! Not only will campers play games they will also learn about the Olympic games that will be going on simultaneously in Beijing, China. It will be a fabulous week and you may even come home with a God Medal! Games will be age appropriate and everyone will be a winner!
